From Independence-Seeker to Purpose-Driven Entrepreneur

  • Born and raised in Jamshedpur, Trilochan was a shy, quiet kid in school. Every small mischief would end with his teacher’s favorite “punishment” — making him sit between two girls, something he still laughs about today. He wasn’t the loudest in class, but he was always observant. And that quiet focus would later define his business journey.
  • After finishing school, he took commerce in Class 11 and, after much debate with his parents, left for Pune to study further. His father, a respected employee at Tata Steel, preferred stability. Trilochan wanted discovery.
  • He completed B.Com, followed by an MBA from Shobhit University, setting the foundation for a professional yet entrepreneurial future.

 

 

 

 

 

Pain Points

The Banking Years: From Ground Sales to State Leadership

  • After completing Financial Risk Management (FRM), Trilochan chose business over a stable corporate job.
  • Trilochan’s professional life began with IDBI Bank in Ranchi — a brand so new that he literally had to hand-deliver cheque books and open accounts door-to-door. That grind taught him humility, persuasion, and the power of persistence.
  • Later, he joined HDFC Bank, encouraged by a friend. Within a few years, he was managing two states, training employees, and leading third-party product sales.
  • By 2002, he had built deep expertise in financial products, communication, and leadership.
  • But banking came with its own burnout. Long hours, transfers, and endless targets. He got married during this time, and soon after, joined Tata AIA Life Insurance in Patna — another corporate role that demanded more travel, more management, and more time away from home.

  • He recently launched a second CarzSpa studio with his childhood friend, Mr. Narendra Rapeta, a former VP at Kotak Bank. Together, they are developing a new, premium destination for Jamshedpur’s growing car community.
